PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP)

Platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy is an innovative and effective solution for hair loss, thinning, and improvement on post hair transplant. It is also used for skin to address concerns of volume loss, hyper-pigmentation, acne scars and stretch marks, and general skin texture improvement.

It is a non surgical and natural approach to restoring hair and skin health by using the patients’ own platelets and plasma which contains a cocktail of growth factors that mimics the biological healing process that normally occurs in the human body after injury.

The procedure entails taking a blood sample from the patient then separating the red blood cells from the platelet rich plasma using a centrifuge machine. The PRP is then injected into the scalp where hair loss is occurring or the area of skin concern.
